I love planning and coming up with goals. I find that they are a really good way to conquior your stress levels. The second part of that I really like is then figuring out how to put things off so you don’t really feel bad for putting them off. For example I had this goal that I was going to blog every day last week and it was going to be mind blowing for every one who read my blog. So for Sara and my Grandmother I think the only people who ready my blog, there life was going to be amazing! So as you can probably see I did not blog last week or even the week after that. It was finaly sunny the fair was in town and lets face it I would rather be caught up on all the editing I had to do or be outside. So my new goal is to try to blog at all. Hopefully I can do that!

Now on to this amazing couple! I was a little nerviousl to meet them because I had only talked to them in email and had no idea what they were going to be like. However not only did I luck out and they were normal they were so much fun and we could not stop laughing. 2011 senior photo shoot with Ooh la loft pt1

I keep wanting to write have a good weekend as if it is Friday. Bad news for me is that it is only tuesday Here are just three of the lovely 9 girls I got to work with for our Senior photo shoot. I will be posting the rest as the week goes so make sure you check back! Big thanks to Ooh La Loft who did all the personal styling and will be available with all my upcoming shoots! Also Thanks to my wonderful assistant Desiree Nielsen Sara Martin and Shannon Russell for doing the Hair and Christina Flach from Pretty Girl Makeup for doing the make up!

Abby brought these amazing red boots that she borrowed form her friend! She is also form Petaluma High like me so she gets Major coolness points!

Sarah is from St Vincents like my brothers! She was sporting the bohemian look and is super easy to photograph especially with that beautiful skin!

Alexa is wearing an outfit if I would wear I would look stupid but she looks amazing in it! Plus she also can not take a bad picture!!!!

Country themed wedding shoot collaboration

Trying to stay creative and growing in all aspects of life is something I struggle with all the time. In my photography I take this especially serious and am constantly wanting to try new things to refine my style more and more. However finding inspiration and actually making something of it can be hard to do on your own. At first I was scared to ask for help but once I did I could not have asked for a better group to help me come up with this project! Every one of these vendors did their very best and when the day of the shoot came by I could not have been more amazed!

I love letterpress! There I said it I also love pretty little things, fun stationary, handwritten note cards, ribbon ok you get the idea. So when I got to go into one of my favorite local shops Paperwhite I had to pinch myself that this was really my job. If you need any kind of personalized invitations or just anytime cards or gifts this would be my first stop. Engaged Steve and Kristen

I first met Steve and Kristen one million years ago. Ok slight exaggeration. I met Steve in High School I went to Petaluma high and he went to St Vincent’s. We had a lot of the same friends so that is when we started hanging out. After high school I went to Fresno State and like what happens most the time when you go away to school you forget about your homies back home. Anyways I was so caught up with my new life and my new friends I did not look back. Kristen was one of those people who I met the first week of my freshman year and she is impossible to not like. We had a lot in common with each other and even kept our horses at the same barn so we spent a lot of time together. The beginning of my second semester Steve came down to fresno state to play football and did not know any one. Steve was also into horses so I think he purely hung out with me so he could meet some “hot girls on the equestrian team”. I know where I stand Anyways it worked out well for him he quickly met Kristen and they hit it off and ditched me. Even though I was sad I got ditched I was really excited about this pair. Not only are they probably the two nicest people I know I can take credit for them being together! Who does not like that! Now almost 7 years later they are getting married this sumer at Edgewood resort in Tahoe! Unfortunately Kristen is making me wear a dress and be one of her bridesmaids so I don’t get to be there wedding photographer they humored me by letting me take their engagement pictures!
